Operations Director

Unitek Training is currently seeking an Operations Director to ensure an exceptional client experience. This individual will be responsible for ensuring productivity, profitability, and most importantly, efficiency for the day to day operations within Unitek Training. This position is based in Chandler, Az.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Directly manage and monitor various members of the operations team.
  • Ensure the team coordinates various logistical details essential for training delivery, including instructors, courseware, and equipment setup at Unitek Training and client locations.
  • Ensure communication with the sales team on class schedule and attendance.
  • Provide efficient and quick support to sales team to help close potential training deals.
  • Provide excellent customer service to external clients and instructors and internal clients.
Training and Experience:
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Operations or Management Preferred.
  • Excellent Project Management skills; ability to handle multiple consecutive events; ability to plan ahead. PMP knowledge is preferred.
  • A good understanding of P&L and COGS; good math skills.
  • Prior experience in class / training / event coordination is a plus.
  • Good communication skills - ability to present in & conduct meetings.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work varied / long shifts; Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
